A New Year in Solitude

I am spending new year at the Marriott--- alone. We usually do this every year. But this year, its different.

White Christmas in the Big Apple. Mom, Dad, Sis, the Pilot, the Pilot's wife, and the Pilot's kid. Oh well, they're close. They will have New Year's Party together in my sister's place.

In Marriott. Me, myself, and I.

It was my choice not to come to either my family or my GF's family. It's damn expensive. No extra cash to spend for a vacation. Maybe next time.

But hey! The room I got in Marriott is nice. I think I will be able to reconnect with myself here. To commune with my inner self in solitude with a classical crossover music as background. I'll rethink about my plans in life. I'll make sure, with God's help, that 2010 will be better.

This season, I wish everyone a joyous 2010!
